Spring Fun with Your Girls
Spring is in the air!
The weather is beautiful, and it’s the perfect time to get outside and have some fun with your girls. Here are a few ideas to inspire you this season:
Color War
Grab some chalk powder and have a blast covering your girls in a rainbow of colors! You can create a field of play with obstacles to hide behind, or just let everyone loose in an open space. However you choose to set it up, it’s guaranteed to be a fun time for all.
Supplies:
Chalk powder
Cups (optional)
Socks or nylons (optional)
Water gun blasters (optional)
Tips:
Each supply creates a different game experience:
Cups: Use chalk quickly—great for fast, messy fun!
Socks or nylons: Allow for multiple rounds since the powder releases more slowly (nylons will empty faster than socks).
Water gun blasters: Create a fun “puff” effect for added excitement.
Encourage girls to wear white so the colors show up best.
Try glow-in-the-dark chalk powder for a nighttime version!
Ask students to bring old towels for cleanup & have parents cover car seats for the ride home.
Good news—the chalk washes out!
Prayer Board Night
My girls always love a good craft. With the cool nights you could set up an outdoor craft night to make prayer boards. This is a great way to give your girls a visual at home that will prompt them to pray for family, friends, peers and things going on in their life.
Supplies
Small bulletin board or foam board.
Envelopes
Fabric pieces
Solid & design cardstock paper
Glue Guns & Glue Sticks or Tape
Bible Verse Stickers
Color pens, markers and pencils
Fun decorative elements
Scissors
Tips
Plan for at least 3 hours.
Have your girls bring their own bulletin board or foam board
Have sample pictures for inspiration
Plan a snack bar. Provide the drinks and let the girls provide the snacks.
Mural Scavenger Hunt
Everyone loves a good scavenger hunt! This is a great team-building activity and a fun way to explore your city. Use local murals as your focus—or, if murals aren’t available, find something unique in your area (like statues, landmarks, or themed storefronts).

Scavenger hunt printouts
A photo-sharing app (like PhotoCircle)
